Aging in Place / Universal Design
As Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS) we consult with you to determine the extent of modifications needed to make your home comfortable and accessible for all family members. DyLon McClary, President and Owner of Rose Construction Inc., has extensive training in appropriate kitchen and bath designs to make these spaces workable for aging and disabled customers.
We can provide changes as small as adding grab bars in the bathroom, to widening doorways and modifying cupboards for greater accessibility.
General Home Maintenance
In our goal to provide whole house renovation services, we are happy to perform small repairs around your home as well as the “big jobs”. A partial list of handyman-type services includes ceiling fan installation, new door installation, siding repair, light switch replacement, finding the source of a leak and repairing the water damage; if you need something that isn’t on this list, give us a call; no project is too large or too small.
To help you visualize your remodel project, we have an in-house Computer-aided Design (CAD) expert to create design concepts using an industry standard CAD design program. Floor plans, sections, and elevations can be drawn so visualization of your changes is transparent and easy to understand. CAD drawings are an integral part of the permitting process—using our CAD drawings, we prepare detailed plans to the permitting entity’s specifications.
Many home remodel projects require a permit, and the fees and requirements can be expensive and confusing. We can work through the labyrinth of permitting requirements and provide you with the exact information you need to make informed decisions—without any unpleasant surprises as the project progresses.
Deck and Patio Design
We have built and remodeled many Whatcom County decks and patios. From repairing rotted boards to complete design and build decks, we can do it all for you.
