The good news is, you can get safety fixtures with style, now that manufacturers have woken up to this need. Practicality, safety, and style are designed into many bath fixtures today.

Moen now includes designer grab bars that match the fixtures in their Banbury collection. Kohler has stylish ADA rated fixtures as well; Delta has fine grab bars that come in finishes to match any color scheme; chrome, polished brass, venetian bronze and stainless.

Consider including some safety features in your next bath remodel; with very little added cost, you can make that towel bar a grab bar, and include one in the shower/ tub to compensate for the slippery surfaces.
